Each of our levels have various awards that swimmers can achieve while they progress. At the end of each term, swimmers will receive a certificate for the awards they have completed that term.

Preschool
Preschool swimmers will work through the Preschool 1, Preschool 2 and Preschool 3 awards, gaining confidence in the pool and building basic skills such as floating and kicking independently.
Foundation
Foundation swimmers will work through the Foundation 1 and Foundation 2 awards, building the basics for front crawl and back crawl, first aided and then unaided.
Beginner
Beginner swimmers will work through the Beginner 1 and Beginner 2 awards, improving their front crawl and back crawl technique and building the basics for breaststroke and butterfly.
Improver
Improver swimmers will work through the Improver 1 and Improver 2 awards, improving their technique for all four strokes, gradually increasing the distance.
Advanced
Advanced swimmers will work through the Advanced 1 and Advanced 2 awards, tweaking their technique to increase efficiency for each stroke and improving their stamina.
Elite
Elite swimmers will work through the Elite 1 and Elite 2 awards, perfecting their technique and maintaining it over longer distances.
Distance
In each level swimmers can achieve various distances for all four strokes. Each distance award can be for a specific stroke, such as 5 metres front crawl, or a general distance for multiple strokes, such as 10 metres.
Well done
Swimmers that have not yet completed the level award that they are working on and have not yet gained the relevant distance award will be awarded with a Well Done certificate to acknowledge their hard work throughout the term.
At the end of each term, you will receive an email with the link to your child's certificate, which can be downloaded and printed.
