What's been happening - June 2020

Things are starting to slow reopen, so making very slow small steps towards lessons restarting. The Swimming Teachers' Association and Children's Activities Association have now both published guidance for reopening so lots of things to consider and potential policies and procedures to implement. I'm reluctant to say at the moment this is what's going to happen when we do restart as things can change so easily but I am looking at different options for different scenarios. I will also be sending out a short questionnaire soon to get parents' views on the different options. The venues themselves will most likely have their own policies and procedures to follow as well so will need to check with them once they reopen. Things do seem to be moving the right way, just need to wait for Scottish Swimming and the government to give the green light for lessons to restart.

We are delighted to have been nominated for the What's On 4 Kids Activities Awards for Most Loved Activity Leader or Business Manager in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Now is the crucial part, the votes! If you'd like to vote that would be absolutely fantastic, it only takes a few minutes. The link is It would be amazing if we could win (I am very competitive!) but even just being nominated is fantastic.

That's all for this month. Hopefully the start of restrictions easing means it won't be too much longer before we're back in the pool.

Stay safe and hopefully see you soon.
